You've heard of "red states" and "blue states"? Well, over here at Walt's World, we've got "brown states". Walt has lately taken a liking to the little squares of Ghirardelli dark chocolate I keep for myself as a treat. After successfully begging for one after dinner the other night, he took a bite into it, and I couldn't help but notice that it looked very much like a certain potat0-producing state.
Mommy: Walt, what state does that chocolate look like?
Walt: Idaho!
Mommy: That's right -- very good, Walt!
Walt takes another bite.
Mommy: Now it looks like Washington, doesn't it?
Walt: Mmm-hmmm. (Taking another bite.) Now what does it look like, Mommy?
Mommy: Um, I don't know . . . I can't really see it.
Walt: (Holding it up.) It's Nevada!
Sure enough. What can I say? The kid knows his states!
