Upon picking Walt up at school today . . .
Mommy: Want to go to the park, Walt?
Walt: We go to the water park?
Mommy: No, the water park is closed for the summer. (This is a bit of a fib, since I know that Josh discovered the previous evening that although the water park was supposed to have been shut off on Monday, it was in fact still working.)
Walt: No, Daddy pink (think) the water park closed, but we go play there and the water come on and get the soccer ball wet. Daddy pink it was closed.
Mommy: Oh.
Walt appears to have the "gift of gab" and I might add, misses nothing! Good luck with that, Ginger and Josh!
ReplyDeleteYes, Gram, I agree, but I like to refer to it as the "gene" of gab, and yes, Ginger and Josh, good luck with that because as far as I can tell, it goes on for--oh about 90+ years at least.
