I realize that our posting frequency has been a bit lacking lately. I thought about it and have come to the conclusion that it's all Walt's fault. You see, most of our posting is done after his bedtime, and lately, his bedtime has been an extended, exhausting process that does not put his parents in the mood for writing glowing commentary on the lad. Of course, he's still a sweet boy most of the time, but the bedtime struggle does leave a bit of a bad taste in one's mouth.
Nevertheless . . . we had a lovely Labor Day weekend with the usual assortment of Nashville and Kentucky relatives. Unfortunately, the only time we saw fit to break out the camera was for about five minutes on the boat on Saturday, so here you go . . .
Collier and Walt are quite the sailors.
Walt helps Deedaddy with the boat driving.
In other news, the weekend also brought the surprise news that Josh has planned a trip to the sunny beaches of Mexico to celebrate our upcoming 10th anniversary! What a guy I snagged, huh? Think I'll keep him. So be on the lookout for some spectacular sand and surf pictures come December!
I would enjoy a blog post about the bedtime struggles. I need the moral support- we are having some problems in that area ourselves!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you guys about your trip. I knew this was "the weekend" when it was revealed. Such a great idea! Plus, we'll get to see Walt and he can play with Reed. We leave for tomorrow for Taiwan!
