Pomp and Circumstance

Img_0560

It was another weekend of firsts for Walt.  We traveled to Nashville on Friday for Josh's cousin Mitchell's high school graduation.  We had planned to get a picture of Walt and the graduate for the blog, but one of the two (and we're not naming any names) was having a bit of a meltdown by the end of the ceremony.  Then Walt got to attend his first ordination ceremony this evening for our friend, Chuck Colson.  He was a bit disappointed that he didn't get any cookies and punch at the reception afterwards, but we explained that it was past his bedtime and we had to get home for a bath (see above) and night-night so as not to have a repeat of Friday night.  He understood.

Here, Putty and Great Granny admire His Adorableness . . .

  1. Walt, I have that same hooded towel! Don't you love it? Mine only goes halfway up my back now, and it's a little torn and tattered since I got it back in '78, but it still gets the job done! See you next weekend! Love you!

  2. Yes, Your Adorableness, you are worthy of being admired. I'm getting calls this week from people who saw you this weekend, and they are telling me how absolutely "adorable" you are! Of course, I'm pretending not to already know, but I don't think I'm being very convincing. You are what brightens every day when I see your smiling face here. I think it's beyond my imagination just how much more wonderful life is going to get with you. Thanks for making our weekend so special!
You be good for Dad tomorrow at your "Walt and Daddy Day" inauguration--I'm sure it will be so much fun! I love you!

  3. Walt,
We really love all your pictures, but this one is so sweet! When I start up my pc Anouk points at the screen: baby kijke (translation: I want to check out Walt's and Collier's website)
Keep that lovely smile on your face!
