No, that's not a look of surprise on Walt's face. (He's known John Ford was a crook since January 15th.) That's the look of a little boy watching his first fireworks display. Gram and Grandaddy came to town this weekend for the Sunset Symphony, the traditional grand finale to the annual Memphis in May International Festival. It lived up to its billing, and little Walt could not take his eyes off of the fireworks at the end. He was enthralled.
The "Sunset" part of the Symphony certainly didn't disappoint either, as you can see in the following photo.

Walt's face is certainly one of wonderment, but Mommy's smile says it all as she watches another one of her baby boy's firsts--truly a look of love. So glad you're not afraid of the fireworks, Walt, because Putty is already wanting to take you to a Sounds game with their fireworks.
