I know you all are probably tired of the same poses under the same gym, but how can you resist taking a picture of that if there is a camera within the same zip code? Today was Daddy Half-Day. I picked Walt up from mother's day out early. We had some lunch, and Walt entertained himself while Daddy performed various domestic duties. Good times!
This is late, but I need to wish your regularly scheduled blogger a happy Mother's Day. I have an incredible mom as most of you know, and my hope and prayer is that Walt will someday also realize how fortunate he is to have such an amazing mom. For some reason, she married me, and for seven years she has amazed me All indications are that motherhood will give her no problem either. I love you, Ginger.
On a similar but less serious note, I'm going to get a leg up on Father's Day by posting this picture of Putty as an early Father's Day gift. As it turns out, neither he nor Evie has the energy that they used to.
Josh,
ReplyDeleteYou must be the that one honest, sincere and sweet lawyer, they are talking about.
No doubt you are the sweetest dad!
I loved "Daddy's Eye View", but I definitely agree with his opinion on our "regularly scheduled blogger"--she's a wonderful mother, and as I told her this past weekend, it sure makes leaving Walt easier knowing he's in such good hands. The look on Walt's face when he sees her has warmed many days for me these past four months. If he never speaks a word about her, the look on his face says it all. I never knew in 1974 the loves in my life would multiply so many times.
ReplyDeleteOh come on, now you've made me cry and I'm too easy of a target these days.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the expression on Walt's face...he must have read his daddy's sweet words. It looks like he already knows what a lucky baby he is to have such a wonderful mommy and daddy...and puppy!
