I was never much into dolls as a kid, but I'll have to say, I am having fun playing dress up with Walt.  Here's his gnarly skateboarding outfit.  He would have gone out grinding today, but it was really cold and I wouldn't let him.  (Plus, he can't stay awake that long.  Or hold up his head.  Both problems when trying to skateboard.)

    Move over Tony Hawk!!! I have no doubt that all of Walt's Summer X-Games dreams will become a reality. Josh, you better get started on building that half-pipe in the backyard. What a cute nephew I have! Is it just me or is Walt's hair beginning to take on a reddish tint?

    Sure have missed you today, Walt. Around 8:30 Nana wondered where you were since I've been getting to snuggle you these past few mornings. Putty said he almost took off I-40 this morning rather than staying on 265 to go to work. You're so precious, and we don't want to miss any changes you make but we realize Mom and Dad are going to do a great job of keeping us posted by updating the blog each day. We're so thankful to have been a part of the first few days of your life and are looking forward to many more wonderful days as you grow into a wonderful young man. Give Mom and Dad a kiss and say thank-you to them for allowing us to share their joy!

    What a doll! I'm going to insist that Cale visit this website so he can see Walt in his skateboarding outfit. Watch out! Cale may have him doing all that crazy stuff he enjoys so much. And whatever you do, don't let Cale influence him about the hair! We love you all and hope to see you soon.
