Walt's first two and a half days have been filled with new faces. He's had lots of visitors, but here's a precious picture of Walt with his Aunt Gigi (Josh's sister Ginger). His first night at home was not exactly restful. Apparently, he prefers sleeping during the day as opposed to the night . . . much like his father. But we did get a few solid hours and are not feeling too bad today. A little Central BBQ for lunch made everything even better (guess Walt will be getting his first taste of dry ribs at the next feeding). The Nashville contingency is heading out right now, much to Putty's (Josh's dad) chagrin, but they'll be back this weekend. Stay tuned for more exciting adventures from Walt's World!

Hey Aunt Gigi, That looks so natural. I am very envious of you. You know how they say that nephews favor their aunts, well, maybe I just said it. Congrats to you.
ReplyDeleteLove, Mrs. Trotter
Of all the exciting days in my life, I've just experienced one that will never be forgotten! The honor and shock I felt when we were told his name cannot be expressed. As has been shown so many times before, God once again has blessed us beyond imagination in the gift of our beautiful and healthy grandson, and a wonderful and loving son and daughter-in-law. Nothing I could say would show my gratitude except . . . "to God be the glory; great things he has done."
ReplyDeleteIf I could ask one more blessing, it would be that Goodlettsville be moved about 175 miles west!!!!!
Well, I don't really know what to say, except welcome to your world, Walt! And I'm not real sure what to say about all the name changes (Putty, Nana, Aunt Gigi, etc., etc., etc.). My name is Brian and I hope that's what you'll call me and know me by. You're my great nephew, which means that you must be (are) something very special. You have a GREAT(!)-grandmother that I'm sure can't WAIT to see you and I hope that you'll get to know...personally. She's also something very special, just like you! Can't wait to meet you and hold you and love on you. You look like you might be just a little kin to me (red hair and all, sorry!), so I guess that's a good thing. Keep 'em in line, especially that new guy, Putty! I've known him a long time and he's something else. I've asked God to bless you all the days of your life. I feel sure you'll be brought up to know Him well. And you've already got a leg up on the outside world, with Josh being your dad and Ginger being your mom. It don't get no better, Walt. Enjoy the ride!
ReplyDeleteI love you and can't wait to see you!
