The Easter Post

Dsc_0344

Yes, we're aware that Easter was over a week ago, and that we've been on an 800-mile roadtrip to Lexington, KY,  since then (which we failed to get a single picture of).  But we hope you'll accept our sincere apologies and enjoy the Easter photo album at left.

In other news, some of you may have heard that our dog, Evie, was hit by a car a couple of weeks ago.  She's going to be alright, but is still at the doggie hospital awaiting her second surgery.  We haven't gotten to see her since a couple of days after it happened (they don't want her to get excited), but we are assured that she is doing very well and is expected to make a full recovery.  We'll post pictures of the patient when she finally makes it home.

  1. And what a special Easter it was. Anybody can devil eggs and prepare green beans, but it takes a real cook to fix a ham like that--fantastic! Of course, the egg hunt(s) was the best part. Walt, we must let you watch our home video of how Daddy hunted eggs when he was only 3 years old.
It was very amazing that just nine eggs could provide so much entertainment (for Nana and Putty that is).
