This week my social schedule included a weekend in Murray with Gram and DeeDaddy. Spending time with grandparents is really fun cause sometimes they let you do things mommies and daddies don't...but not always! Saturday morning Gram offered wakkels for breakfast but I asked her if she had panpakes...I got panpakes! I even got to make some out of playdough! Don't t they look yummy?
Then we went to see Aunt Puppy (she's feeling better after her surgery...see, she's smiling!) and Uncle Mancil (he has a cool truck!)
Mommy, I know you are going to say my shoes don't match my shirt, but that's one of those things Grams and Nanas let you do... pick my own outfits! Besides, Daddy bought me these cool shoes and I like them!
Then we were off to the "Doodlebops" concert. For those of you who don't know, they are a Disney kids' rock group. They have a new TV program and since Murray is such a hot market they came there on their US tour. It was fun and loud.
Well, it's almost time to go home and I can't wait to see Mommy and Daddy and Evie, but I have had fun...but not as much as Gram and DeeDaddy. They sure smile and laugh a lot when I'm here!
Oh. one more thing...you know how football players get cats' paws or buckeyes on their helmets when they do something good? Well, let's just say I did something good TWICE (actually 3 times-once after this picture)! I'll do most anything for Red Car and Mater!
Walt,
ReplyDeleteWe can't wait to be in Memphis this weekend and let you fix us some "panpakes" Saturday morning for breakfast; should we bring the Karo? So glad Gram taught you how to cook panpakes. You're one lucky fellow to have so many people to love you. Putty says you looked right scholarly inbetween Uncle Mancil and DeeDaddy!
Love you bunches. Have a good week!
Once again we witness Gram's famous child and animal training skills. You know what, Gram? I think you should go into business as a sort of hired gun for child rearing. I bet you'd make a mint.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we'll call her "The Toddler Whisperer". He did tell me once today that he had to go potty, so maybe we're actually making some headway . . .
ReplyDeletewow, those doodlebops sure are lucky that you came to see them. I hope you got VIP treatment. I loved spending time with you these last two weekends. Be good and entertain Nana and Putty this weekend. Love you!
