Have I mentioned that the kid likes water? Well, the kid likes water. Yesterday, after our morning run, we went to the backyard so that I could re-pot some herbs I'd bought. While my attention was occupied with that, Walt strolled off around the corner of the house (all enclosed by a fence -- don't worry, I'm not that bad of a mother) and was gone for a few minutes. When I started to hear laughing coming from the direction he had wandered, I got curious and went to investigate. As it turns out, our neighbor was watering his yard with a big sprinkler and a good part of the spray was coming over the fence into our yard. Walt was standing there, fully-clothed and ankle-deep in water, enjoying the free shower! Everytime it swept over him, he laughed like nothing in the world could be more fun. Ah, to be a kid again.

ReplyDeleteToo cute!!! I would have given anything to have witnessed that...but thanks for the video...next best thing! I've never seen a child love water like he does! Gram will get her sprinkler out for Walt's visit at the end of the month!
