Well, my day at Nana and Putty's began with more chores . . . . .
Since Aunt Harriet's guidelines for watering the money tree didn't produce anything, I had to resort to more drastic measures. Sorry, Mom . . .
Quite honestly, I'm a bit surprised that Dad's car-cleaning techniques reaped such few dividends. I mean, we're talking pennies . . . .
I was finally able to convince Nana and Putty I wouldn't spend ALL their money, so off we went . . .
After our final purchase, I was off on my brand new yacht to soak up some fun in the sun . . .

ReplyDeleteThe two days we spent with you were so much fun! I can't remember laughing so much in a long time! Life has certainly changed since you have started walking. I'll bet Mommy and Daddy have enjoyed themselves more since they have gotten to see your smiling face EVERYDAY. (Walt's World fans may a bit spoiled this week!) The hardest part for Gram and Grandaddy and Nana and Putty was not keeping you...but seeing you leave. This house is very quiet tonight. No squeals and singing and chasing balls. We miss you and love you so much!
Walty, Keep watering that tree! And harvest it before your mommie sees it, put the stash in an envelope and send it to me. I promise to fly over as soon as I receive the envelope and I can hang out with you. I loved the way that your presence inspires your grandparents to dive into the weblogworld, to keep us up to date. ReplyDeleteWe have receeved the 'info.' You are to wire all the proceds from the sell of the Audi to our bank in Afrika ASAP. We will, in turn, wire back the prophits from the sale of the 'stuff' we pirchused after using your proceeds from the sale of the Audi-mobile. We need all of your banking info before this transaction can acutally go forth. Therefore, we will need the name of your bank, the name on the account, your R&T numbr (don't worry, we know what this is, you don't have to! - WINK!) and any other personl info you want us to have.
