This is about as close as Evie will willingly get to Walt (and willingly is probably a strong word -- she was commanded) because as soon as she does . . .

P.S. How about this posting two days in a row thing? Pretty good, huh? Don't get used to it. It's what happens when Daddy is in trial and Mommy is home alone and there's nothing good on TV.

You look so pleased with yourself in the picture! We also love the Puppy Love pictures...especially the "lick and run". You and Evie will be inseparable when she is a little more confident that her eyes won't be poked and her ears won't be pulled! Evie was rewarded by getting in a good lick! Walt, Nana wants you to stop this right now! You cannot be almost 1 year old; it was only yesterday that your daddy was getting ready to make his face-first plunge into his first birthday cake. I know that's hard to imagine since he can't hardly stand it when your graham crackers get mushy and are all over your face and hands!
