Gram made a trip to Memphis this weekend to hang with Walt (oh, and I'm sure she was glad to see Josh and Ginger too). While she was here, she decided to help Walt out with his (lack of) crawling skills.
"Alright, Walt, here we go . . ."
"Like this, Gram?"
"This crawling thing sure is hard!"
"How about if we do some yoga instead? This position is called 'Down Dog'."
"Boy, Gram, all that crawling and yoga worked up an appetite . . . let's go to Huey's! I'm buying! Well, as long as I can use your credit card . . ."

Well, Walt, I think I see some major progress in the area of crawling. I'm not sure, however, that you're at the point where they will let you enter the marathon this weekend. Wonder if Mommy and Daddy could afford to have Gram as your nanny/trainer. I do believe she could definitely have you ready by at least Friday.

ReplyDeleteTell Nana that the last crawling position wasn't yoga...it was the "get ready position" for getting off the blocks in the marathon next weekend! (Is your daddy really running in the Chicago Marathon???) Gram had sooo much fun playing with you all weekend. Grandaddy loved the "movies" that I brought back for him to see. You are growing into such a sweet little fella...I'm so proud you're my grandson! I love you!
