I have no idea what this face is all about, but I think it's funny, so there you go. And another picture with Daddy . . .
(Wardrobe credit: Nana and Putty)
When Walt looks back at this blog later in his life, he's going to wonder if Mommy was ever around because she's certainly not ever in the pictures. To which I will say, "Who do you think took the pictures, Sweetie?" Ah, the plight of the mommy.
Walt got to join us for lunch in the living room today because football was on and neither of us could bear to spend fifteen minutes in the kitchen dishing up the chicken and green beans. He was in quite a goofy mood during lunch, doing much sputtering and head bobbing . . . hence the green beans (almost) in the eye:
After that he took a lovely two-hour nap, during which the rest of us (Evie's always napping) also got to sleep. It was nice and rainy outside which always makes for a nice Sunday afternoon nap. Plus, after a two-hour nap, a baby is in a very good mood and is fun to play with. Very nice.
Josh,
ReplyDeleteGet that camera and take some pictures of your wife and baby. We would all love to see them, but Walt will certainly want to see that his mommy was there the whole time. I'm beginning to think this blog is the only reason I come to work anymore. Well, it's the only part I enjoy anyway. I love to look at the pictures of Walt with those big blue eyes that seem to be looking right at me. Thanks for all of the time ya'll spend entertaining the rest of us.
Love to you all,
Aunt Brenda
Walt, I see Daddy can get the camera quickly when Mommy is feeding the green beans, or is that Mommy being ambidextrous again! Hopefully, you'll always know to love the "hand that feeds", though.
ReplyDeleteNana loves you, and you sure do look sharp in that little plaid outfit. I don't even remember buying that, so I'm sure it was a Putty purchase! Be a sweet boy this weekend, and don't let Rosie get any of Nana's kisses!!!!
Walt, Green is you color!! You should wear is more often, or eat it that is even better!
ReplyDeleteWe love the pictures, Ginger.
Great pictures! Don't you just wonder what Walt was thinking in that top shot? That is hilarious...
