Home Again

Img_1752

Apparently the three-hour trip home from Nashville was a bit confining for Walt because once he finally got out of the carseat, he was in rare form.  Most of his dinner ended up on his face, the bib, the highchair, and Mommy because he couldn't stop wiggling and talking and blowing raspberries long enough to eat.  So Daddy took him into the living room to work off some energy before bedtime . . .

And, yes, Gram -- that is the same paper cup he's been playing with for two weeks.   And don't you even think about trying to take it away from him!  He will have none of it.  Surprisingly, despite his vast stores of energy, Walt went to bed without protest and I'm sure is now dreaming of paper cups and Gatorade tops.  Oh, to be a kid again.

  1. Walt, can it be that you won't be here when we wake up in the morning?! It's a mighty quiet place here right now, and we're not nearly as energetic as we were just a few short hours ago when you brought this house to life for three whole days. There's no way to tell anyone what a joy you are, and Mommy and Daddy are so nice to share you with us.
We can't wait for you to come back to brighten up our house again. Putty's looking forward to the two of you playing "trampoline" (shhhhh--don't tell Mommy) on Nana's made-up bed again, and showing you how to yo-yo.
We hope you know how much you are truly loved by so many!
