It's almost vacation time at the Spickler house and everyone is VERY excited. Josh is carefully inventorying his snowboarding equipment, I am researching restaurants in Vail and deciding which books will make the cut, and Walt is pestering us both on a near constant basis about when it's time to go visit his grandparents. After answering for the millionth time how much longer it would be until he went to see "GramandDeeDaddyandNanaandPutty" (yes, it's always one word like that), we decided (at Gram's suggestion) to make a countdown chart yesterday. The plan was to mark off each date right before bedtime, but yesterday, we only made it to about 6:00. Here's to the next two weeks going by fast, for everyone's sake!
