My brother David (aka Uncle Chi-Chi) used to have the month of November all to himself when it came to family birthday celebrations. Then I had to go and marry another Scorpio and Collier decided to make his grand entrance three years ago in time for turkey a few weeks later. So now, it's becoming a tradition to gather in Murray during the early part of the month for a joint birthday celebration. It was a lovely weekend and we have the pictures to prove it. Here are but a few . . .
Collier and Walt turning their brains to mush (tv not pictured).
Fun with decaying organic matter.
Kids love Pagliai's! (And so do their mommies, much to everyone else's chagrin.)
With their respective lovies -- Slicky (Walt) and Silky (Collier).
"You gotta be kidding me, ref!" (Gram and Mommy are clearly very into the game.)
Did I mention we had some birthdays to celebrate?
Happy Birthday, Birthday Boys!!
This is a tradition that Gram and DeeDaddy LOVE! Hope it continues! Thanks for an action packed weekend and Happy Birthday to all our guys!!!
ReplyDeleteFood in Deedaddy's chair?! Grandchildren get away with everything!
ReplyDeleteLooks like we should try to make it to Murray in November some time in the future. Richard loves cake!
Happy Birthday to all!
I know Josh is not 28, and I'm pretty positive he's not 3. How nice of Gram not to display Josh's ripe ol' age of 33. I know that is such a fun time for all of you, and I'm sure Gram and DeeDaddy were ready to jump rope when everybody left. Just something about being with young folks that makes you younger, huh Gram!
ReplyDeleteActually the 3 candles were for Collier's "3" and symbolically for Josh's "33". I didn't want to set off the smoke alarm!
ReplyDeletei'm anxiously awaiting your first dining with monkeys submission!
