Walt and Meredith are sitting quietly in the backseat a few minutes after we picked up Meredith at school for her overnight stay with us.
"Did you have fun at school today, Mer-Mer?"
Silence.

Peering around the edge of his carseat,
"DID YOU?!"
She gets that from her father.
