Mow-Mow Drops By

On Sunday morning, the Spickler household had the good fortune to entertain the lovely and talented Meredith Jubilee Lareau while her parents made a quick trip to Arkansas.  Tell me she is not lovely.  You cannot do it.

Walt attempted to impress her with his keen alphabet knowledge.   She doesn't look too impressed.

Here she attempts to swipe the "G" while Walt mugs for the camera.

One of those times when we say "Give each other a hug!" just 'cause it's cute.

We interrupt this attempt at dressing Walt for a spontaneous jam session.  (Mere is quite the dancer.)

All dressed for church and watching the boob tube.

  1. Could we be so lucky as to get such a lovely young lady as a granddaughter-in-law one day? There couldn't be a prettier little girl in Memphis, and how very well disciplined they look sitting so quietly on the sofa while waiting to go to church.

  2. It looks like Mer is seriously getting down at the jam session. Hey, David had some harps and lyres and such, so I think this is a legitimate Sunday morning activity. Go Walt.
And yes, Nana, we can only hope that they'll like each other as much when they're, say, 25.

  3. Yes, Meredith is precious, wonderful and sooo pretty, but also very blessed to have such dear and kind friends.

  4. Uh, actually, no, harps and lires are not kosher, Kate. Well, technically, yes, they are kosher. King David kosher; however, not 1st century church kosher. Let's keep the pagans out of our Sunday mornings.
