(Last) Weekend in Murray

Okay, I know we've been very bad baby bloggers lately.  As for excuses, there's not much of substance I can offer up.  New fall TV shows are pretty good?  Book club went late?  Yeah, I don't know.  We'll try to do better.

Walt and I (Mommy) took a trip to Murray last weekend and were fortunate to meet up with one Collier Crouch, first cousin to Walty.  They had a LOT of fun.  There was some running around the house to be done . . .

And then they had to stop and take a little break for breakfast.

After receiving that sustenance, they were ready to hit Fall on the Farm with Gram and Grandaddy . . .

After a lunch at Pagliai's (mmm . . . chips and ranch) and a long afternoon nap, we were off to Collier's Aunt Mammy's wedding at the lake.  It was a lovely ceremony . . .

. . . and then Walt enjoyed some butter at the reception.

Good times.

  1. Sippy cups in the sink and little boys running through the kitchen, I bet Cheryl was in Grandma-heaven!

  2. Cousins are one of God's greatest gifts of life, Walt, so you enjoy every minute you get to spend with Collier, especially when you're at that very special place of Gram and Granddaddy's house.
Nana can testify that nothing tops a good pat of butter after a hard day on the farm!

  3. Yes, it was a busy and fun weekend in Murray. Harriet is right...there's nothing like sippy cups in the sink and boys running through the house to put smiles on Gram and Grandaddy's faces! Walt and Collier love being together and are always finding new things to get into. How we love those boys...and look forward to their visits!
