Yes, Walt has taken his first visit to the Tennessee State Fair with Putty and Nana:
Of course, Putty had let Walt "play" with the camera before going to the fair, therefore all the pictures were quite dark and not visible enough to post. We've yet to figure out what button is out of place. You can see, however, that he got close to some of the more gentle animals:
And even some of the not so gentle:
Of course, in keeping with the grandparents-to-parents agreement, he never indulged in what really makes a state fair memorable:
No visit to Putty's is complete unless the car gets clean and shiny for Walt to ride in, but Putty just didn't have time. Walt enjoyed watching the track pull the car through the washing bay:
While Nana and Putty spent some time with close friends during the loss of their daughter, Walt spent time at a pajama party at Abbeys:
Thanks Abbey and Aunt Brenda for helping out!
Walt looks like he's having so much fun that he won't want to come home, so please do something very boring tonight so that he'll want to return to his Mum tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI miss you, sweet boy!
I know where he had the most fun! What a treat it was for Walt's busy schedule to include a stay at my house. He can come over anytime! I just thought it was strange that Nanny and Putty charged ME to keep him. :)
ReplyDeleteI want to find out when I can come and visit Nana and Putty! Sure looks like a fun place!!! And I'm sure that Walt was expected to walk the straight and narrow as usual!
ReplyDeleteIt was completely my pleasure to stay with Walt on Saturday. We had fun, and I don't think I can say enough what a good child he is. Fair warning, though, watch out for that second one!!! And, Ginger, you might be pleased to know that I definitely see you in Walt. Since I'm also a regular visitor to Collier's Corner, it might really be some of Collier's features I see. Still, it has to be from your side of the family. Anyway, he's adorable, and I'm happy to babysit any time I'm needed. I love you, Walt, and your mommy and daddy.
