Who are we to argue with Ben Franklin?

"What do you mean, 'The kite broke'?"

"Oh well, I'll just sit here and figure out which of these houses I'm going to live in."

"Pity about the kite, but I do love a good fountain!"

  1. You mean it is ok to post, even though your name is still on the "recent comments list" twice?
Well, We love the pictures. I guess I will have to schedule another trip to Memphis soon, Walty is growing up so fast.
And Walty, with the KLM-flight you can easily fly on your own, don't be a stranger and come over!
    Love from Holland

  2. Well, I'm ashamed, because I'm one of the people who check regularly (like several times a day) for new pictures, and I'm one of the ones who hasn't added comments in quite a while. Sorry. I do appreciate all of the time ya'll put into this site, and I just cannot go more than a day or two (the weekend) without my "Walt fix". It makes me happy to see and read about all of your adventures, and it's exciting to see and hear of all of Walt's accomplishments. I'll try to do better. Hopefully, we'll see you soon.
    Love,
    Aunt Brenda

  3. I couldn't help but think, Walt, as I looked at your pictures for the second time already this morning, of how proud your great-granddaddy would be--flying a US Navy kite, flying it down by the river, and then to look at those fingers around your cup--all reminding me of him.
Nana can't wait to see you; it's less than a week now. I don't think today is going to be a good day to fly a kite, so stay close to home and keep Evie safe in case it storms.
    I love you!

As for your mom and dad, encourage them to keep posting. I love checking for new things.

  6. Hi Walt,
Boy, have you grown! I'm a bit jealous, because when I go outside I have to wear my winter jacket, it is still so cold! Great advice from Aunt Harriet, come over and I'll teach you some new tricks!
    Love, Anouk

  9. Hey Walt,
We've been checking your site a lot over the past few days and have noticed there have not been any changes. I know for sure that a kid as great as you has done SOMETHING WORTHY of blogging about!

I know we get to see Walty this weekend, but come onnnnnnnnnn! We need a Walt fix to hold us over until then. Can someone please tell management that it is time for a new post!!!! Walty! Walty! Walty!

  12. Walt,
Is there a chance that you could be proficient in typing since you already know sign language? That way we could "bribe" you into doing your own posts--what do ya' say--please, Walt. Putty bought lots of fresh bananas today, and don't tell Mommy but he bought Daddy some of those little chocolate doughnuts, too. It would be a shame to see those doughnuts go to waste, but if we don't get a new post, we may have to take drastic measures here.
Can't wait to see you tomorrow! I love you.
