Hi, Gram! Evie and I got Mommy up very early this morning so that we could wish you a happy birthday. We wanted to call you at 5:56, but Mommy said that was too early for any right-thinking person to be awake. So she made us go back to sleep for a whole 'nother hour! But now we're up and sending lots of happy birthday thoughts your way. We can't wait to see you on Friday -- Evie and I are going to take you to our park! It's the best. Almost as good as birthdays. Well, I'm not supposed to be playing on the computer, so I guess I'd better sign off before Mommy gets back from taking Evie out. I told Evie to stall, but it's kinda cold this morning and you know how she doesn't like the cold. Silly puppy.

What a nice grandson--getting up extra early just to wish Gram a happy birthday. I'll bet you're saving all your energy to help Gram cheer Murray State to victory on Friday. Just remember that you're not to allow Gram to spoil you. It was extremely hard not to spoil you yesterday, but I had to keep my vow to Gram--now the ball is in her court again!

ReplyDeleteThank you sooo much for the early birthday greeting today...but not too early! I started my day out with a smile because I loved the sweet picture of you and Evie. I can't wait to go to the park with you this weekend. You'll have to tell me the best things to ride on...and then we'll get ready to cheer the Racers AND the Wildcats on to victory. Maybe Mommy and Daddy will let you stay up later than usual to see the game! I promise, I will try not to scare you!
