Actually, not so much a shiner as a sunburn. Mommy missed a spot with the sunscreen at the lake on Saturday. Please don't call DCS on me. It really doesn't seem to bother him.
Nana and Putty came Sunday afternoon for a quick overnight Walty fix and brought new duds, of course.
Walt helps Daddy get ready for his fantasy football draft. Unfortunately, the actual draft happened after bedtime, so we'll have to catch him up on the roster in the morning.

Walt, how much fun we had yesterday! It is so exciting to see how much you've matured and grown. You're such a joy to be around, and the time with you is priceless. We were talking about you even as we put our heads on our pillows last night--what a nice way to end the day! We love you a bushel and a peck . . .!

ReplyDeleteanyway, I couldn't make it down this week! No gas money until Friday. Sorry. I really wanted to. I hate not getting to see Walt (and the two of you of course). I guess I'll see you Labor Day weekend. Mom said you were coming up. I'll just spoil him then.
