Well, it was a lovely weekend here in Memphis. We spent Friday night babysitting young Trenton Bills, who was an angel -- slept almost the whole time his parents were gone. I'm sure having twins would be a breeze (ha ha). Aunt Gigi got here that night too and spent some quality time with Walt while Josh and I went to a party on Saturday night.
Here's a picture of Walt, Evie and Daddy hanging out in bed on Saturday morning.
After church today we went to the park and had lunch and took a walk. Evie's favorite part of going to the park is rolling over in front of other dogs . . . even the ones that are smaller than her. (Frankly, it's embarassing.) Then we went home and Walt took a nice, long nap (fresh air tuckered him out) while Daddy worked on the yard and Mommy talked to Gram and Grandaddy, after which we all went to Bosco's for dinner. Oh, and the Grizzlies just destroyed the Lakers. All in all, a lovely weekend.
Hey Walt...
ReplyDeleteI learned a new trick today...I faked sick and got to go home early from my first day of school. When your Mommy goes back to work next week, give me a call...I'll tell you my secrets. Miss you little buddy!
Walt, you look like you've grown 6 inches since I last saw you. I can't wait until this weekend when Aunt Brenda (or maybe your dad will let you call her Tutu, too) and I get to stay with you while Mommy and Daddy are at the wedding. Putty is sending you some things, but he's really sad that he isn't getting to see you. Guess that means another trip to Memphis soon, or maybe you can talk Putty into retiring so NES doesn't interfere with our visits!
ReplyDeleteLove you--see you in just four more days!
Dear Walt,
ReplyDeleteIs it possible for you to get any cuter? How about that growth spurt? Wow, the Grizzlies will be needing you before long. Just before you consider signing with them, how about a trip to the greatest uni in the country? I figured your dad may not get around to telling you about the 2005 National Championship Carolina Tarheels. You would look great in Carolina Blue. I noticed the Grizzlies have that color going too.
I am glad to see how you are growing, but I sure wish I could see you more often.
Love to you, mommy, and daddy
Mrs. T
Hey Walt,
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing little friend? Missed you last week! We can't wait to be your first foreign babysitters next week. Rich people fly in foreign nannies all the time, but you will have two-and-a-half! Yes, sorry we have to bring that dog again, but she will entertain Evie, while we hang out and do big-boystuff. Well, we will see you tuesday, have fun with Nana this weekend and Gram and Granddaddy this weekend, ask them all about having lunch with monkeys.
Love you,
Harriet
